Paul Kalanithi, M.D.
Paul studied Human Biology and English Literature as an undergraduate at Stanford, and subsequently earned a M.Phil in the History and Philosophy of Science from the University of Cambridge. He completed his medical school training at Yale, where he studied neuropathologic defects of fast-spiking interneuron networks in Tourette Syndrome. Outside of neurosurgery, Paul enjoys backpacking in the Sierras, obsessing over the Phoenix Suns, and devouring both sustainable meats and political blogs.
