Dura Resources for Neurosurgery Residents

Allyson Alexander, M.D., Ph.D.

Allyson was born and raised in Annapolis, Maryland. She fell in love with Stanford (go Cardinal!) as an undergraduate, and then moved south to pursue her M.D. and Ph.D. degrees at the University of California, Irvine. During her graduate studies in the lab with Dr. Ivan Soltesz, she worked on the role of mossy cells in epileptogenesis after head trauma in a rat model.
