A pilot clinical trial to assess the efficacy and safety of real-time continuous glucose monitoring in the management of type 1 diabetes in young children (less than 4 years old)

Description

This study is being done to find out how well continuous glucose monitors (CGM) work in young children with type 1 diabetes in the age range of less than 4 years old.  We also want to find out how parents feel about their child’s using a Continuous Glucose Monitor.

Eligibility

Inclusion:

1. Clinical diagnosis of type 1 diabetes
2. Age less than 4 years

Internet access for downloading CGM, access to a PC compatible computer,
 Windows Vista is not compatible for downloading
