Goals
The overarching mission of the Career Development and Diversity center (CDD) is to change the way that Clinical & Translational research (CTR) is perceived, evaluated, and rewarded at the University, as well as to expand the diversity of faculty, trainees, and subjects participating in CTR. The three specific goals of the center are:
- Build a strong community of clinical & translational researchers by fostering interactions and networking opportunities between faculty and students interested in CTR.
- Develop novel ways to recruit, promote, and retain faculty engaged in CTR.
- Expand faculty and trainee diversity through improved minority recruitment and retention.
