Coming Soon
In the next few years, the CDD plans to launch a wide range of exciting programs that will be open to both faculty and trainees. Here are some descriptions of planned programs:
Clinical & Translational Networking Program: This program will bring together researchers across ranks and put them into networking groups, centered around areas of research interest.
Clinical & Translational Medicine Incubator (CTMI): The CTMI will serve as a point of contact for researchers across the University who are interested in CTR. Through the CTMI, we will schedule seminars, foster networking and communication, and support the creation of multidisciplinary research teams that are working on particular CTR projects.
Cultural Competency Training: In collaboration with experts across campus, we will develop interesting and innovative education modules to teach students, faculty, and researchers about how to develop cultural competence. The goal is to increase knowledge, awareness and skills in this area in order to ensure excellence in clinical & translational research.
“Just in Time” Team Science Coaching: In addition to the formal team science training program, this program will help existing research teams through a formal coaching process. Coaches will work with teams in order to establish a common purpose, solve conflicts, and create plans for monitoring team progress.
