Strength Training Regimen fOr Normal weiGht Diabetics (STRONG-D) Study
In collaboration with 24 Hour Fitness, study participants will go to their closest 24 Hour Fitness location for the exercise intervention.
The Strength Training Regimen for Normal Weight Diabetics (STRONG-D) Study is designed to evaluate the best exercise program for people with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus who are at normal weight. This study is funded by the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) of the National Institutes of Health.
- Must be a Type 2 Diabetic
- Must not be on insulin
- No history of heart problems
- BMI between 18.5-25.0
