In a typical year, over 1,000 volunteers contribute approximately 112,000 hours of service to Stanford Hospital & Clinics. Many of the patient services that make Stanford Hospital & Clinics such a special place for health and healing — among them the Hospital Auxiliary, Art for Health, Musical Healing, Health Library, and Spiritual Care programs — depend on the good will and good work of dedicated volunteers. Stanford Blood Center, a not-for-profit community blood center, welcomes donors at three sites and at mobile blood drives throughout the Bay Area.
