What is Frontiers in Human Health?
Greek mythology tells us of Prometheus, who was able to survive fatal injuries by regenerating a body part. Today researchers and physicians are working to make this myth a reality through regenerative medicine. Stanford University is leading efforts to harness the unique ability of stem cells to develop into many different cell types. Please join us to hear some of the most dynamic and promising scientists in regenerative medicine speak about the potential for cell-based therapies for a number of pervasive and debilitating diseases.
Frontiers in Human Health is a biannual event designed to showcase cutting-edge biomedical research at Stanford University. Stanford scientists and clinicians will give you a firsthand look at some of the new technologies and treatments that have the power to change the nature of
medical treatment in the years to come.
