February 21, 2017
Yonatan Winetraub, a PhD candidate from the Biophysics Program, has been named to Forbes Israel 30 Under 30 List.
The second annual Forbes Israel 30 Under 30 List, which is comprised of sixty of the top young innovators from across Israel who are bringing disruption and game-changing transformation to business, technology, media, government, sports, culture and more. The innovators on the 30 Under 30 List were chosen by Forbes Israel for their trailblazing ideas and activities.
Each candidate on the list has made his or her mark in Israel, and in the world beyond. Candidates were chosen based on their contributions in one of six categories: Entrepreneurship and Technology; Management and Finance; Social Entrepreneurship; Governance and Law; Communication and Media; and Culture and Sport. Nearly half of the candidates are in the Entrepreneurship and Technology category, and all of the categories include top innovators and industry leaders in their fields. The list was compiled by Forbes Israel’s team after lengthy research that included consultations with local industry leaders and institutions in Israel, including Tel Aviv University, Israel Institute of Technology, IDC Center Herzliya, investment banks, VC funds, tech accelerators and others.
Honorees are invited to participate in Forbes’ Under 30 Summit EMEA, to be held April 2-6, 2017. The summit is expected to bring together in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem more than 600 young entrepreneurial game changers and legendary mentors from all over the world.
