Stanford CYCling and Lower Effects (CYCLE) Study
The CYCLE Study is designed to better determine factors which impact the comfort and safety of cycling. Approximately 20 years ago, we learned that cycling may impact the risk of sexual dysfunction in some riders. The industry took notice and a major equipment redesign was initiated.
We hope to understand the current state of cycling on men’s and women’s pelvic health including pain, numbness, and sexual function.
CYCLE is a non-profit study being conducted at Stanford University.
All levels of cyclists are being invited to participate to complete a brief (15-20 min) survey to understand riding habits, health, and function. The only requirement is that you are at least 18 years of age.
Please help us understand and improve cycling comfort and safety.
