Stanford Cardiovascular Imaging Division
The Stanford Cardiovascular Imaging (CVI) group is composed of internationally renowned physicians, researchers, engineers, and physicists who are committed to advancing a tradition of excellence in cardiovascular imaging. We use state-of-the-art imaging technology combined with advanced protocols and dedicated post-processing applications for non-invasive imaging of the cardiovascular system in children and adults.
The CVI group partners with other divisions including cardiology, cardiothoracic and vascular surgery, transplant teams, and the Lucile Packard Children's Hospital to support personalized and comprehensive patient care. We are also commited to educating the next generation of cardiovascular imaging leaders through our intensive clinical fellowship program. Our clinical and research work/expertise focus on aortic disease, congenital imaging, heart valves, and blood flow.
We pride ourselves in being at the forefront of medical research in the diagnostic imaging field with the ultimate goal to advance clinical knowledge and translating the newest diagnostic discoveries to our patients.
