The Division of Pain Medicine offers several fellowships to provide educational opportunities for physicians, psychologists, nurses, and physical and occupational therapists interested in specializing in pain medicine. In addition, seminars, webinars, symposia, and journal clubs are conducted throughout the year so that all members of the Division  of Pain Medicine can keep abreast of research breakthroughs and other developments in the field of pain medicine.

Pain Medicine Fellowship

ACGME approved clinical pain management fellowships are available for physicians interested in specializing in pain medicine. 

Pain Psychology Fellowship

A one-year, postdoctoral pain psychology fellowship is available to teach psychologists how to evaluate and treat diverse pain populations in an outpatient setting. 

Research Opportunities

We offer a variety research avenues, allowing physicians to delve more deeply into translational medicine.

Medical School and Residency Education

Stanford Pain Medicine is actively involved in the education of tomorrow’s physicians through the School of Medicine, with pain curriculum offered throughout the pre-clinical and clinical years as well as comprehensive inpatient and outpatient pain clerkships.
