As partners in the care of your patients, we are committed to keeping you up-to-date on your patients' latest diagnostic and treatment data.  

Our online physician portal, Stanford MedLink, offers you and your delegates the ability to create a referral or an order. You can also access your patients’ charts, physician notes, test results, and images to stay up to date on your patients’ care.

How-To Refer Patients

  1. Search for trials through our search engine or mobile app: iOS | Android
  2. Contact a Stanford Clinical Trials Information Specialist: 650-498-7061, ccto-office@stanford.edu

  1. Locate a trial of interest through our search engine or mobile app: iOS | Android
  2. Scroll down and review the inclusion and exclusion criteria on the trial details page
  3. Find “contact information” listed on the right hand side.  The study contact can answer questions and let you know:
    • Next steps for your patient
    • How to set up an in-person screening appointment for your patient with the study's Stanford Medicine physician

Adult Patients @ Stanford Health Care

  1. Download and complete a Referral Form
  2. Fax or email the completed Referral Form to: 650-320-9443 or ReferralCenter@stanfordhealthcare.org 
  3. Referral assistance: Speak with an SHC nurse, who can help you navigate your referral. Call: 1-866-742-4811

Pediatric Patients @ Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford
