Public Service and Community Partnerships
The School of Medicine promotes an ethic of public service through student-run free clinics, coordinated community partnerships and a variety of centers and programs.
trains future leaders in community health, disseminates community health scholarship and enhances local health via community-academic partnerships.
provide primary care services to under- and uninsured children and adults in San Mateo, Santa Clara and Alameda counties.
coordinates all child advocacy efforts sponsored by the School of Medicine.
offers specialty training for students and residents interested in primary care medicine.
educates health-care professionals about the unique health and social service needs of older adults.
