Research

The CHRI, in partnership with Stanford School of Medicine, Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford, and Lucile Packard Foundation for Children’s Health, provides support to researchers committed to transform the state of child and maternal health in our community, nation and worldwide. A variety of funding mechanisms are available to faculty, clinical trainees and postdoctoral fellows throughout the School of Medicine and across Stanford University to trigger innovative research and enable translation of discoveries and expertise to launch and sustain healthier lives.

In addition to providing support for individual faculty and fellows through scholar and seed grant programs, the CHRI encourages faculty to explore and develop new collaborations across the Stanford University campus through its Transdisiplinary New Initiatives and New Ideas Programs.
