A key goal of the Child Health Research Institute is to provide early-career development and enhance the Stanford translational medicine community.  We have partnered with the Eureka Institute for Translational Medicine to provide our maternal and child health community additional professional development through the Eureka International Certificate Program in Translational Medicine and the Eureka Annual Summer School Course in Translational Medicine.

"The Eureka Institute for Translational Medicine International Certificate Program was a career game changer for me.  I was able to better understand my identity and responsibility as a translational scientist, which clarified my priorities and helped me see the potential for my work that I had never known existed before. I came home enriched with knowledge about the business, scientific, and regulatory aspects of translational medicine and fortified with multiple strategies on how to tackle common challenges in this work. Most importantly, I came home connected with a community of like-minded individuals from around the world who are in common pursuit of discoveries that will benefit human health. "

“The Eureka program brought together a group of people in their early or mid-training who were passionate about translational research - whether that's from the drug discovery side, from the basic science side, or whether that's from the clinical side – and learn from each other.”

Anupama Narla, MD

"Imagine that there is a place where you can find people - like you - who are passionate about and dedicated to research. Imagine that there is such a place that teaches you just that – to bring your passion and dedication back to the community and provide opportunities to those who need it. Eureka! You found it."
