Each year, the Stanford Maternal & Child Health Research Institute (MCHRI) assists in the coordination of research studies that are designed to improve the health of mothers and children.  Over the summer, the team learned about the need for art supplies, which are provided to patients to use throughout their stay.

Through the Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford Champions for Children program, the MCHRI set up an online registry campaign designed to collect materials from within the team and their associated communities. Thanks to the generous support of friends, families, and colleagues, the team assembled more than 90 art kits, filled with canvases, paints, paintbrushes, sponges, and Play-Doh sets, and delivered these kits to the Children’s Hospital in December.
