The media plays a critical role in shaping views and informing our understanding of what is happening in the world around us. Scientific writing, publishing and editing, and news reporting all rely upon biomedical professionals to translate advances in medicine and science for a wide range of audience levels. Clinicians and researchers with strong communication skills are highly valued within this sector to provide context and describe the implications associated with progress in their respective domains.
