Are you interested in networking or the business of science? Ever wondered what else you can do with a research PhD? Join us for a panel discussion with women who are earlymid career and have transitioned away from the bench.

About the speakers:
Angele Maki: After completing a BS in chemistry at the University of Winnipeg, Angele moved to the US where she got a PhD in biological chemistry at Stanford University. After her PhD, Angele completed a postdoc at the Scripps Research Institute and subsequently took a job in business development at Medarex. Last year, Medarex was acquired by Bristol-Myers Squibb, and Angele now works in the Stategic Transactions Group at BMS.

Nitzan Sternheim: Nitzan is a Senior Associate in Clinical Regulatory Affairs at Genentech, focusing on oncology drug development. Prior to joining Genentech she was a Clinical Research Associate at XDx, a molecular diagnostics company. Nitzan completed her PhD in Developmental Biology at Stanford University as a Howard Hughes fellow. Prior to Stanford, she received her BSc in Biology from Tel Aviv University, Israel.
