Physician Bioscience Commercialization Workshop
This one-day intensive workshop is specifically designed for physician entrepreneurs who:
• Want to learn more about the bioscience commercialization process;
• Have an early stage product they would like to further develop; or
• Have a later stage prototyped product they would like to commercialize and present to potential funders.

This highly interactive workshop focuses on critical product development issues for developing, commercializing, and/or licensing a bioscience product as well as idea assessment, feasibility assessment, and commercialization assessment. Included are facilitation, online diagnostic assessment tools, exercises, mentoring, pitching opportunities, and real-time feedback from coaches. At the end of the workshop, physicians will:

• Learn the bioscience technology/product development cycle;
• Discover strengths and weakness about their idea;
• Explore intellectual property protection options;
• Learn about the market validation process;
• Identify different financing options;
• Authenticate their opportunity with coaches and workshop participants
• Understand what it takes to present a professional “pitch”; and
• Decide whether to proceed to the next steps of commercialization.
