| Event details: | This second-annual event will feature policy-makers, entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs and investors, updating the larger Silicon Valley community on the opportunities and challenges in the clean green space. The event will commence at 8:30 with registration and networking, and begin promptly at 9:00 with Welcomes and Thank Yous. Opening remarks will be presented at 9:15 by City of San Jose Mayor Chuck Reed and will feature comments on ‘How Policymakers Are Supporting Clean Green Entrepreneurship'. At 10:00, following the opening remarks, we will present a Financing Panel entitled ‘Where's the Green in Clean?' The discussion will feature a wide range of investors in clean energy organizations, from angels to VCs to investment bankers. Following the financing panel, there will be a morning break, from 11:00 -- 11:15 a.m. Promptly at 11:15, we will feature a corporate panel, on ‘Doing Well While Doing Good'. Our panelists will cover not only what their organization is doing internally to minimize their carbon footprint, but also how its products and services are better serving their customers and how they are partnering with clean green entrepreneurs to stimulate innovation of clean green solutions. The panel will feature: At 12:15, lunch and networking At 1:15, we will re-convene for our third and final panel featuring entrepreneurs profiling ‘Clean Green Success Stories': Closing remarks will be held at 2:15 and further networking is encouraged from 2:30-3:00 p.m. |
