Overview:
Exploring career options across a broad range of fields gives you a distinct advantage in knowing which industry sectors and organizations are best able to make use of your talents. By researching and learning about the opportunities throughout a variety of organizations, you are better able to evaluate those organizations and focus on career opportunities that fit your interests, skills and abilities.

The Boston Consulting Group’s summer program, Bridge to BCG, is a two day workshop and opportunity to explore careers in healthcare management while learning consulting skills, participating in a case experience, and getting to know BCGers in a realistic workplace setting. The program is designed specifically for advanced degree candidates (PhDs, MDs, JDs) with a planned 2010 graduation.  The program is non-evaluative, but priority will be given to Bridge participants for the Fall interview selection process.

The Boston Consulting Group’s global reputation in top management consulting derives from more than forty years’ experience helping senior managers discover and achieve their companies’ full potential.  Their mission is to help clients attain unparalleled success by capitalizing on key opportunities for growth and improvement.  BCG works closely with each client to help set direction, drive  organizational change, face operational challenges, and deliver results.

Stanford Graduate & MD Students, Post Docs, and Residents interested in learning more about BCG's role in healthcare management consulting and their summer Bridge to BCG Program are encouraged to attend this on-campus information session.

Fee: Free and open to Stanford ID holders.
