SAMMS, or the Stanford Association for Multi-disciplinary Medicine and Science, is an organization focused on Stanford graduate and medical students, post-docs, and medical fellows. We are dedicated to providing an informal environment to facilitate interdisciplinary interaction to promote a more integrated and collaborative effort towards Stanford research and clinical care.

Event details:

Announcing the SAMMS coffee break and panel: an informal panel discussion on a current topic for a broad scientific audience accompanied by coffee and snacks.

The topic at hand is cancer diagnostics. Our panelists represent a broad range of expertise
and will discuss methods used in the clinic, as well as groundbreaking research to improve
early detection and specialized care. They will begin by speaking briefly about their own work, followed by an open forum discussion.
