Personalized medicine has gained significant attention in the past few years and for good reason; it holds tremendous promise as a means for improving patient care and outcomes.  The benefits of these advances are far reaching, as are their impacts; from early stage research to clinical patient care, the new era of personalized medicine is transforming the overall healthcare platform.
