Event details:   Overview:
The U.S. healthcare system is currently in uncharted territory. Demand, technology and the underlying structure of the industry have led to a climate of increasing costs and complexity in the delivery of healthcare. In order to develop a meaningful perspective on how to improve healthcare delivery, we must gain a fundamental understanding of the forces at work in the industry and how they impact current healthcare providers, payors and consumers. Over time, these forces will drive a new landscape for healthcare delivery, and successful participants will be those who re-evaluate their strategies and core operations. In this talk, McKinsey consultants will explore the current dynamics of the industry and consider emerging models that may define success in the future U.S. healthcare market.
