Vinita Gupta, Advisory Board Member

Vinita Gupta is a writer and journalist, retired  CEO/entrepreneur, and bridge champion. She co-founded Digital Link Corporation and was the CEO from inception to retirement for almost 20 years.

Silicon India magazine credited Vinita for being the first woman of Indian origin to take her company public in the US.

She completed her Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic and Communications at IIT Roorkee, India in 1973. She received her Masters in Electrical Engineering from University of California, Los Angeles in 1974. She was awarded two US Patents in the field of telecommunications.

She serves as a board member for Sutter Health, Mathematical Science and Research Institute, Berkeley, and Indian School of Business located in Hyderabad India, in addition to serving on the Community Board for Palo Alto Medical Foundation.

Vinita is a bridge champion with three National Titles. She resides in Woodside, California, with her husband Naren Gupta, GP of Nexus Venture Partners.
