Breast Imaging Fellowship

We will be accepting applications for the 2020-2021 Fellowship beginning September 10, 2018.  

Stanford's Breast Imaging Fellowship offers training in digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT) mammography with CAD; breast ultrasound; percutaneous biopsies and preoperative needle localization/fiducial marking under ultrasound, stereotactic, DBT and MRI guidance; interpretation of breast magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) for breast cancer and implants. Research time is provided during the fellowship for academic projects. Ongoing research projects include  image-guided breast biopsy, interstitial breast fluid analysis, PET, mammography positioning, screening for breast cancer, automated image analysis, device development and testing.
