    May 2016. Dr. Subashini (Suba) Srinivasan was recently named to the group of 2016 ISMRM Junior Fellows.

  • Xinwei Shi Awarded 2nd-Place Poster at the Bio-X Symposium

    March 2016. Graduate student Xinwei Shi won the 2nd-place poster at the Stanford Bio-X Interdisciplinary Initiatives Seed Grant Program Symposium for her poster entitled "Regularized Inversion of Metallic Implant Susceptibility from Magnetic Field Maps".

  • Dr. Bragi Sveinsson Completes his PhD

    March 2016. Dr. Bragi Sveinsson, completed his PhDthesis, entitled "Quantitative Measurements and Artifact Correction Methods in Body Magnetic Resonance Imaging" describing ways novel signal models of the Double-Echo in Steady-State (DESS) sequence improves image quality, quantification and reduces artifacts in knee imaging.

  • ISMRM OA Workshop Awards of Merit for Highly Rated Trainee Abstracts

    September 2015 Feliks Kogan, PhD and Akshay Chaudhari, MSc were recently given the Award of Merit for their abstracts at the 2015 ISMRM Workshop on Imaging Based Methods of Osteoarthritis.

  • Dr. Srinivasan Awarded Cancer Training Fellowship

    September 2015. Dr. Subashini (Suba) Srinivasan was recently named as Stanford Cancer Imaging Training (SCIT) post-doctoral fellow.

  • Dr. Brian Hargreaves Named Fellow of the ISMRM

    June 2015. Dr. Brian Hargreaves was named a Fellow of the ISMRM for his scientific and educational contributions.

  • 2015 ISMRM Awards

    June 2015. BMR group members received Summa (top 3% of submitted abstracts) and Magna (top 15% of submitted abstracts) Cum Laude Merit awards for their research work at the 23rd ISMRM Conference in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

  • Akshay Chaudhari Receives Whitaker Summer Grant

    May 2015. Graduate student Akshay Chaudhari received the Whitaker Summer Grant.

  • Akshay Chaudhari Awarded 2nd-Place CBIS Poster

    April 2015. Graduate student Akshay Chaudhari won the 2nd-place poster at the annual CBIS Symposium for his poster entitled "Rapid, High-Resolution, and Multi-Contrast Knee MRI of Short T2 Tissues with Ultrashort TE Double-Echo Steady-State.

  • Dr. Valentina Taviani Receives New Researcher Advocacy Award

    April 2015. Dr. Valentina Taviani, Research Associate, was awarded a New Researcher Advocacy Award, to travel to the Coalition for Imaging and Bioengineering Research’s (CIBR) annual advocacy events on Capitol Hill and at the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
