BMIR investigators discover, apply, translate, and organize data in order to make a difference for health and health care. BMIR enables Stanford Medicine’s vision for a Learning Health System by translating biomedical data into actionable insights for decision making.

Our research incorporates multiple methods, including machine learning, biostatistics, semantic technology, and the modeling of biomedical systems to benefit clinical and translational research as well as patient care.
