About Me
Hello World.
My name is Tiffany Chen and I am a first year student in Biomedical Informatics. Originally from Ohio, I went to school at Duke University in North Carolina, where I graduated with an interdepartmental major in Computer Science and Biology.
The goal of this blog is in many ways, a reflection of my time here, as well as a vessel for information that I feel is important to document or share. Subsequently, this thing will either be confusing and overwhelming to readers, or a pleasant, enjoyable experience. I am hoping for the latter.
As an undergraduate, I had the chance to work with Dr. Steve Vogel, who studies biomechanics, as well as Dr. HF Nijhout, who is an entomologist interested in the evo/devo aspects of complex traits. As an undergraduate teaching assistant and an active member of my undergraduate ACM, I had the chance to work with Dr. Susan Rodger, who was an integral part in guiding my path towards graduate school.
