Housewarming in the Ghetto

Posted 01:14 AM, October 22, 2006, by saerni

This week has been pretty uneventful. The best part by far was the housewarming at Shirley, Maureen, Runa and Sarah's house in East Palo Alto (Sarah is not a BMI student but a Stanford grad student). Their house is super nice. I was pretty surprised.

East Palo Alto is a relatively undesireable area. We were sent to EPA for a lookt a house for rent. While the house was nice, had a hot tub, was larger and cheaper than the place I'm living, I just could not imagine living there. I guess the area is really improving.

They found a new development in a cul-de-sac which is pretty secluded, but the area you drive to get there didn't seem so great, but they ride their bikes!!! I'm pretty sure I'm going to move closer to the city next year, though. In any case, here are some pictures from the evening!!!
