The Approach

Posted 01:32 PM, October 11, 2008, by iridmoonglass2

My purpose for taking Medicine and Horsemanship was to gain more knowledge about horses and their body language integrating it into my practice. Working in non-traditional therapies requires "leaving it at the gate" and allowing your intuitional abilities to flow. One moment I find myself observing while the next interpreting information.

Thus far, our classes lesson horses are teaching me about my personal fears, my approach in choices and decisions along with the need to respect other's personal space be it a person or animal. I am looking forward to learning more and overcoming fear with confidence and competence.
