TITLE:

Vaccine-Induced Immunity to Influenza

SPEAKER:

David B. Lewis, M.D., Professor of Pediatrics at the Lucile Salter Packard Children's Hospital

I will present pre-clinical studies in which cationic lipid DNA complexes (CLDC), a novel adjuvant, is being developed for use in an inactivated influenza vaccine. I will also outline proposed studies in humans in an ongoing phase II trial of CLDC that aim to predict vaccine immunogenicity.
