Managing Innovation From The Inside Out
Stanford Biodesign’s annual executive education program, Managing Innovation from the Inside Out, provides senior executives with a fresh perspective on how to drive innovation within their organizations. Through hands-on experiences and personalized interactions with industry leaders, participants learn a proven process for assessing new opportunities and achieving results in the demanding health technology sector.
WHO:
The course is designed for executives with 10+ years of management experience (strategic planning, R&D, product development, marketing, business development) who are responsible for leading innovation efforts within their organization.
WHAT:
Over three days, participants will learn and practice the biodesign innovation process through hands-on exercises and activities. You will also adapt and apply it to a unique team-based project related to a specific challenges facing your organization. Our goal is to equip you with meaningful skills and actionable plans to support the discovery and development of your company’s next big innovation.
WHEN:
March 1-3, 2017. See the Course Schedule for more information
WHERE:
“Home base” for the program will be the Arrillaga Alumni Center at the heart of the Stanford University campus. Other activities will take place at the Stanford Stadium, and a special dinner event is scheduled for Thursday night at a select off-campus venue.
Because this is an intense, team-based program, all participants – even those who live locally – are encouraged to stay overnight at the Stanford Park Hotel (which is included in the cost of registration).
HOW:
Companies must register groups of 6-8 participants for this team-based program. To initiate a group registration, please contact Gordon Saul. Registration opens for Biodesign partners on September 1 and on October 1 for all other companies. Please see the Frequently Asked Questions page for more information.
