Presentation Guidelines

Speakers are required to have their presentation ready on a USB key. Please meet with the A/V tech the morning before your scheduled session to upload your presentation onto the room computer and to make sure your presentation is ready before you speak. Unless otherwise specified, oral presentations are each scheduled for 15 minutes (12 min talk + 3 min questions).

If you are speaking in one of the workshops, you will need to make arrangements with the workshop organizers with respect to the timing of your talk and how best to collect the presentations.

Slides can be uploaded for sharing and future viewing to the Biocuration channel on F1000Research.

Slides should be in either .pdf, .ppt, or .pptx format. Mac and Linux users should save their slides in PDF format.

Poster boards measuring 30 inches x 40 inches (76 cm x 101 cm) will be provided. In order to fit, posters should be printed in portrait (not landscape).

Pins will be provided.
