Faculty Recruitment

The Faculty Recruitment program continues to support Stanford's ability to attract new and talented faculty. Funds from this program make it possible for Stanford to make the best offers possible to bring world class researchers to the University. Much of the burden of recruiting is the expense of setting up a new laboratory, including renovations and the purchase of new equipment. We provide crucial start-up funds to help cover these costs and that of hiring technical expertise to get the new research enterprise off the ground.
