Current News

There have been many changes in the past couple of years with our organization. The former Rehabilitation Technology Center services under Packard Children’s Hospital have been relocated. The former Communication Technology Service has moved across the street to 1023 Corporation Way in Palo Alto and is now under the Department of Neurology with Stanford School of Medicine. The seating department is now located at Rehabilitation Specialists in Mountain View and the Orthotics & Prosthetics service is now The Center for Independent Rehabilitation Services in Palo Alto.

We are now called the Assistive Technology Research Clinics (ATRC) under the direction of Dr. Terence D. Sanger of the Movement Disorders Center. Dr. Sanger is a pediatric neurologist with a specialty in movement disorders. We are excited about our association with Dr. Sanger and his understanding of movement challenges.
