Stanford advanced clinical trainees and postdoctoral scholars are considered trainees in residence at Stanford University pursuing advanced studies beyond the doctoral level in preparation for an independent career. In the Anesthesiology Department, this can be either a research fellowship or a non‐accredited postdoctoral fellowship. Your status is considered a non‐matriculated and non‐degree seeking student with the University.
The SoM's Office of Postdoctoral Affairs (OPA) home page provides general information about postdoctoral scholars. It is recommended that all incoming SoM-appointed fellows review this site.
