MSPA White Coat and Stethoscope Ceremony
"The stethoscope is one of the prime symbols of patient care and the practice of medicine. You have to be close to your patient to use it. This is your chance to truly interact with your patient. You are listening to what the patient has to tell you."
-Laurie Weisberg, MD and former president of the Stanford Medical Alumni Association
SMAA proudly welcomes the 2019 incoming class of physician assistants at this annual ceremony at which the students receive their first white coats and stethoscopes in the program. Please join us at this symbolical ceremony and witness beginning of their journey into medicine.
This event is open to the 2019 incoming MSPA students, their family and friends. Pre-registered guests only. No onsite registration will be available. Name tags are required to attend both ceremony and reception.
