Stanford's Beyond the Farm Alumni Day of Service is an opportunity to connect with fellow Stanford alumni, friends, and family while volunteering with a local community organization. Beyond the Farm seeks to bring Stanford's spirit of service to communities around the world, and we hope that these efforts will inspire ongoing volunteerism in your community.

This year the Stanford Medicine Alumni Association has once again partnered with the Vista Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired for their Recycle for Sight program. Volunteers will help clean, sort, verify, measure, and package thousands of donated eyeglasses to be provided to countries overseas and veteran, homeless, and low-income clients within the San Francisco Bay area. We hope that you'll be able to join us for this amazing volunteer project!

**Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. Children 10 and above welcome. Light breakfast and lunch provided.**

The Science of Longevity

On behalf of Stanford Medicine Alumni Association, we would like to invite you back to the Stanford School of Medicine for a day of celebration with our vibrant alumni community of medical and bioscience graduates. Reconnect to the campus and with your former classmates, meet new colleagues, and enjoy inspiring faculty presentations as we explore this year’s theme— The Science of Longevity.  

Hear from leaders in the study of healthy aging about the array of medical advances and emerging technologies that are transforming how we age and extending our years of health. Join us as we explore new research about the genetic, molecular, and cellular mechanisms responsible for common chronic conditions and age-related disease, and gain insights into the promise of new treatments and regenerative medicine.

This year’s MD reunion alumni include the classes of 1953, 1958, 1963, 1968, 1973, 1978, 1983, 1988, 1993, 1998, 2003, 2008, 2013 and 2018. PhD and other School of Medicine degreed alumni, residents, postdocs, and fellows will also be attending. In addition, we are celebrating 50+ years of the MSTP program.  

The Stanford Medicine Alumni Association is proud to host the 28th annual Match Day evening celebration! The MD Class of 2023 and their guests are joined by board members, the dean of the Stanford School of Medicine, and senior administrators for a reception and dinner to celebrate students' residency matches and upcoming graduation from Stanford School of Medicine.
