Mission
Connections brings together new Assistant Professors and Clinical Assistant Professors in small groups, each with a senior faculty leader. These groups meet monthly for a year, and attend Faculty Talks (also open to non-participants) to learn about the school and the university. This program helps junior faculty bring a strategic focus to their careers, as well as giving them an instant cohort of fellow new faculty members, allowing them to:
- meet and network with colleagues across departments and disciplines;
- learn more concretely how the School of Medicine functions;
- obtain useful career development information;
- learn about resources available at the School and the University;
- have a valuable forum for raising questions and topics and receiving information and guidance.
